How I Brand My Dubsado




If you’ve never heard of Dubsado* before, here’s a little run down.

Dubsado* is a CRM, a customer relationship manager. Basically, it helps you to run your lovely service-based business by automating sending out forms, scheduling appointments, invoicing. It helps to reduce the amount of time you spend doing admin, and who doesn’t want that?!



Amongst the many reasons I love Dubsado*, one of them is how I can add my branding into the documents I send out. By adding in graphics and images, I can make the forms and documents I send out to clients fully branded with the colours, fonts, and images.

Here are the top 3 ways I like to include branded graphics into Dubsado*:


Email Headers / Footers

Your bog standard email often gets forgotten about when it comes to promoting your business. So, use this constant back and forwards with potential leads / clients to promote yourself, to promote another service you offer, or a recent blog post. Adding your branding into an emails, even if it’s just in your email signature. But another way you can add in your branding is adding in a header or footer to your emails. You could use your footer to promote your signature service, or a digital product you are currently selling, or even an offer you currently have running.

Forms

What are forms? It’s a very loose term for all the kinds of documents you send to a client. A questionnaire to collect information from them when they’re a lead, a contract for them to sign, a ‘How-To’ guide. All of these can include graphics to make your text more easy to digest and also easier on the eye. Just because it may be a boring contract, doesn’t mean you can’t add a little bit of interest to it with a beautiful header and footer.

Forms are my most favourite thing in Dubsado* when it comes to the setting up process. This is where you really need to think outside of the box. How much of the information you need from clients, or need to give to clients can be made into some sort of form? How you design that form is totally up to you. Be creative. But using forms is one of the best ways to add in your branding and make your client really get the whole experience when working with you. Create some graphics to help elevate your forms, add in your logo, you can even put some of your brand photos in there to help create that know like and trust element.

Client Portal

If you don’t have some sort of custom client portal header then you bloody well need one! Getting clients to go into their portal can be tricky, but making it more friendly and inviting by adding a custom-made portal banner can certainly help. Plus, you’ll wow them with how professional you look. If she’s got a client portal then she must have her shit together.


Did you know you can also create custom client portal banners for each client. If you don't work with a huge amount of clients each month, then this is a really lovely way to add in that extra touch to their experience.

What Do I Use to Create My Graphics?

How do I make all these graphics to beautify my Dubsado* account? Canva*, of course. I don’t pay ridiculous amounts of money for Adobe products (I actually have no idea how to use them!). A free Canva account and a little bit of creativity can go a long way.
